Can Christians Unite Behind Huckabee?

The point of our presidential election is to vote for the candidate that most closely reflects our personal values and beliefs.

The LDS have sent in their champion: Mitt Romney. They support him in a blind cultish fashion. He takes his policies directly from the Mormon authorities – hence the perceived flip-flopping.

Romney’s family tree can be traced back to the early days of Mormonism. He even has areas of BYU named after him.

I also think that proof of church funding will surface either after the elections or during the general election if he is the nominee. But speculation aside, Mormons will fight tooth and nail to get him in the White House.

The 40 million Baptists in the USA need to rally behind Huckabee. He may not be yours/mine IDEAL candidate, but he would protect our interests and that is what counts.

If we could rally behind Mike with the same cultish fervor of the Mormon Church supporting Romney, he wouldn’t be flat broke trying to figure out how he is going to continue.

If every Baptist donated $5.00 to Mike (Baptists donate??), money would never again be an issue in his campaign, and he would be able to win.

Don’t think Jesus and politics mix well? Just remember that when American children are punished in public school for reading a Bible or praying over meals. Remember that as our rights rapidly erode even more. Huckabee can reverse this trend.

The election is our opportunity to speak out, and our loudest voice is our money. If you are like me you probably don’t have much, but if you can even give Mike one dollar, it WILL help him.

Donating alone is not good enough though. You must tell your friends. Talk to people in your church and get them to volunteer or donate.

It is time for Christians to stop being put to shame by the Mormon Church. It is time for Christians to unite!
